Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated Cost Engineer Intern, who will be responsible for cost creation and evaluation of a variety of electrical components, interfacing with multiple organizations in a multicultural environment covering a worldwide perimeter. This role includes analyzing the development steps, workflows, and production processes of the supply base.
Main Activities
The Cost Engineer Intern’s responsibilities will include analyzing manufacturing operations, designing workflows and production processes, understanding raw material markets and the supply base. The Cost Engineer Intern will assist the worldwide teams with technical services to estimate component prices for the new technologies, covering activities such as:
- Optimize process using AI
- Work on the Cost Model definition by functions
- Contribute to the Strategic Vision for Stellantis’s ECUs.
- Stay one step ahead of the product development, challenge and set contacts with components manufacturing and designers.
Some of the activities they will be involved with include:
- Research relevant market trends, industrial standards, and innovations.
- Build and maintain an optimize techno-economical competences for Semiconductors.
- Build and maintain Cost Model definition by functions.
- Contribute to specification and design of future Stellantis’s Architectures
- Work with Stellantis Engineering and functions to provide solutions to optimize and align their future roadmap to ensure the competitiveness of Stellantis Solution.
- Multicultural environment covering worldwide perimeter.
Key Requirements
- BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical degree (Computer Science, Mechanical, Chemical). Would also consider a Finance or Business degree with the correct experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to create high-quality presentations and reports for presentations to management levels.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- Working knowledge of Italian & English.
- Proficient in MS Office suite of tools, in particular PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
