H3Job Description /h3pReporting to the Engineering Manager and under general supervision, as our Project Engineer you will work in an international team and you will autonomously manage the execution of projects within Electrical Distribution Segment to ensure that the certification projects are delivered on time and with the best quality and experience for our clients. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliManages certification projects for devices in Wiring Devices segment (e.g., connectors, terminal blocks, cable trays, cable glands, industry plugs and sockets, etc.). /liliDetermines project specifications such as: scope, cost, time, sample requirements, technical documentation etc., by analyzing client input, available data and product construction. /liliPreparing datasheets and instructions, scheduling and reviewing work of Laboratory Technicians and establishing completion dates. /liliCommunicates with clients to discuss technical issues, completion date etc., and explains UL procedures and requirements. Projects may include travel to conduct or witness tests at client sites. /liliProvides technical assistance to clients in reference to product evaluations, inspection, plans review and follow-up services /liliEstablishes appropriate test programs by reviewing files and manufacturer's information, examining samples, and applying UL requirements. /liliDevelops test requirements for products beyond the scope of existing standards, or those involving unique features requiring frequent use of independent judgment. /liliDetermines areas in which the product may not be in compliance with the applicable Standard based requirements. /liliPlans,
conducts and supervises code and regulatory related projects of major magnitude and scope. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliUniversity Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or Physics from an accredited program plus four years directly related work experience. /liliDetailed knowledge of the technical vocabulary common to the appropriate discipline. /liliWorking knowledge of conformity standards in use in area of expertise. /liliDemonstrated ability to apply project-handling concepts in use in area of expertise. /li /ulpWhat we offer: /ppWe understand that remuneration and benefits are important when deciding on your next career move. The annual salary range for this position is EUR 38.100 - 50.800 gross, determined by numerous factors, including knowledge, skills, and experience (Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA): Commerce Sector - Job Classification Level: Level 2-1). This position also offers an annual premio of up to 10% of annual salary.
