We are looking for a

Site Manager – Bologna .
The successful candidate will lead operations at our new

Bologna site , taking full responsibility for

operational performance, people, safety, financial results and customer relationship .
What Will You Do

Warehouse Management:

organize and plan daily activities in line with customer requirements, ensuring efficient management of operational flows, inventory, inbound and outbound activities, returns and materials.
Take full

operational and financial responsibility

for managing a safe, efficient and profitable site, ensuring high operational standards for both the organization and the customer.
Lead the

change mindset towards standardization, operational excellence and continuous improvement .
Manage, engage and develop a large operational team of approximately

250 employees , fostering accountability, performance and collaboration.
Build and maintain

strong, long-term relationships with customers ,



ensuring service excellence and alignment with business expectations.
Monitor the site's

organizational structure and span of control , identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Lead by example, reinforcing behaviors aligned with

DHL culture, leadership principles and operational standards .
Manage external providers supporting the site's general services, including

security, infrastructure and maintenance .
Ensure full compliance with

safety, quality and operational standards , promoting a strong safety culture across the site.
Requirements

Master's degree

in Engineering, Economics or a related field.
Solid experience in

Logistics / Supply Chain , preferably gained in complex or industrial environments.
Significant experience in

direct people management , ideally within large operational teams.
Proven track record in

people leadership and industrial relations / union management .
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to define and successfully deploy a

strategic plan for the site .
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of

Lean Manufacturing, WCM, TPM, Six Sigma

or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong customer orientation and ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. xysqume
