pRINA is currently recruiting for a bBuilding Senior Electrical Engineer /b to join its office in bGenoa /b or bCatania /b within the bCivil Engineering /b Division. /p h3Mission /h3 pThe bBuilding Senior Electrical Engineer /b will be an integral part of teams dedicated to Building Engineering and Building Physics. The primary responsibility will be to develop the design of electrical systems within Building MEP systems, including also competencies in the data center design. This engineer will work interacting with cross-functional teams to enhance sustainability, reduce environmental impact, and improve energy efficiency within building ecosystem. /p h3Key Accountabilities /h3 ul liDesign Development: Develop, design, and implement electrical and special systems within Building MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) frameworks, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best engineering practices. Coordinate subcontractors to ensure seamless execution of electrical system designs. /li liData Center Design: Contribute to the electrical design of data centers, including power distribution, UPS systems, grounding, lighting, and energy management solutions. /li liTechnology Innovation: Stay updated on emerging technologies, smart building systems, and renewable energy integration to propose innovative solutions in design and operation. /li liTechnical Documentation: Prepare detailed design drawings, technical specifications, and reports for all project stages, from concept to construction. /li liCoordination Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, structural, and architectural engineers) to ensure full integration of electrical systems within the overall building design. /li liEnergy Efficiency Sustainability: Apply innovative design approaches to reduce energy consumption,
enhance system efficiency, and support sustainable and low-carbon building initiatives. /li liBuilding Performance Analysis: Support building physics assessments related to energy use, lighting quality, and indoor environmental conditions to improve overall building performance. /li liQuality Assurance: Conduct design reviews and ensure technical accuracy and compliance with project requirements and client expectations. /li /ul h3Education /h3 pMaster’s Degree in Electrical Engineering /p h3Qualifications /h3 ul liat least 5 years of experience in building engineering; /li listrong capability in designing and developing electrical systems within MEP frameworks, including BMS, power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems; /li liproficiency in the design of critical electrical infrastructure for data centers, including UPS systems, generators, and redundancy configurations (TIER levels); /li lifamiliarity with international and local electrical codes, and building regulations relevant to electrical system design; /li lieffective coordination of multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors; strong written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and client interaction; /li liability to work effectively in a team environment; /li lifluent english. /li /ul h3Competencies /h3 ul liWORKPLACE DYNAMICS - Resourcefulness in shaping progress and working efficiently.

The gross annual salary range foreseen is between b€45,000 and €55,000 /b and will be finally defined on candidate’s professional experience, qualifications, competencies and overall alignment with the role. In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements.
