Job Description Summary As a Mechanical Production Cell Leader, you will lead the manufacturing cell to achieve production targets for the Nozzle and Rotor Blades programs while improving Quality and EHS standards. In this role, you will actively lead Daily Shop Management through a Lean problem-solving approach, embedding Servant Leadership values. You will also integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within your functional area of expertise, participate in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
Lead the rate increase and linearity of Mechanical Production Area ensuring deliveries on time
Lead the Daily Shop Management of production area thru the problem solving methodologies, managing priorities and parts/products with high customer impact
Lead Lean Transformation of VS, working on Flow optimization and pull system, driving and foster Lean culture across the team
Own the responsibilities for achieving business profit, productivity, safety, and quality goals
Direct process/product improvement programs and provide process method excellence throughout the organization
Lead the team to achieve goals in asset utilization, process/manufacturing loss improvement, delivered quality and cost reduction
Provide ongoing supervision and counseling for employees, guiding them in current positions and assisting with career development and training
Facilitate the leadership team in decision-making and problem solving and provide effective communication across the plant
Develop and track sales, expense, inventory, and investment budgets with the input of each organization
Provide leadership in the areas of staff selection, training and development, facility planning and construction, process, and procedure implementation
Master's Degree in Engineering degree with a proven experience in Manufacturing Engineering and/or Material and/or Lean field
Proven knowledge of machining and special processes applicable on aeronautic components
Knowledge of the disciplines of manufacturing management such as production and inventory control, and standard cost systems
Knowledge and proven experience of Lean 6-sigma methodologies
Knowledge of manufacturing policies and regulations established by GE as well as government and other customers
Knowledge of Aviation rules, products and processes
Ability to develop and motivate a high-involvement team through commitment to meeting customer and organization demands
Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken
Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
Change agent mindset
Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
Established project management skills

54.525 euro - 81.562,50 euro + Performance-related premio + PDR up to 6000 euro
Compensation will be defined within the published salary range, reflecting the candidate’s experience, developed skills, and overall alignment with the role’s responsibilities.
