Research Engineer – RF Integrated Circuit Design
Are you a skilled RF IC designer ready to tackle the technical challenges of next-generation wireless and high-frequency electronic systems? Fondazione Chips-IT seeks a Research Engineer with a strong background in Radio Frequency (RF) and millimeter-wave (mmWave) IC design to lead pioneering development of integrated circuits for advanced communication, radar, and high-speed wireless applications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead R&D; activities on RF and mixed-signal integrated circuits for advanced communication, wireless transceivers, and high-frequency systems. - Architect, design, and validate complex RF blocks (such as LNAs, PAs, VCOs, mixers, and synthesizers) in advanced silicon technologies. - Guide system-level integration and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on packaging and co-design approaches. - Supervise Master's and PhD students working on high-frequency designs. - Protect intellectual property and publish impactful research in the RF domain. - Track emerging trends in wireless technologies to shape future research directions.
