Job Description Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Vehicle Integration Engineering who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Naples - IT .
Accountabilities Definition of High, Medium and Low voltage Electrical architecture documents
Definition TCMS vehicle architecture
Definition of traction characteristics and development of driving simulations
Development Functional Specifications for the functional integration of the vehicle
Preparation of the vehicle test specifications
Support for performance and functional tests of the vehicle
Required Skills/ Knowledge Experience in the railway industry with the role of Train Systems Engineer is preferred.
Knowledge of the basic concepts of the RAMS disciplines is an advantage.
Knowledge of the main regulations relating to on-board systems in the railway business
Knowledge of the main office automation software/tools (Word, Excel, etc.)
Knowledge of the electrotechnical, electronic, system engineering processes and the main regulations in the railway field is required, in order to manage, throughout the life cycle of the product and with an interdisciplinary approach, the design activities, development and functional integration of the subsystems of railway vehicle platforms, with particular reference to the top
