Senior Account Executive

In this Account Executive role, you will drive new business in enterprise accounts, selling Axway’s MFT, API, and Cloud SaaS solutions. You will build relationships with C-suite stakeholders and coordinate cross-functional teams to close large ARR deals. You will map customer needs and strategic priorities, supporting digital transformation across industries. - Target and close opportunities in Enterprise Accounts across multiple industries
- Manage and qualify multiple opportunities to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas
- Develop relationships with C-suite personas (CFO, CIO, COO, CDO) across product lines
- Serve as a digital advisor to accelerate assigned verticals
- Oversee client relationship mapping and orchestrate account strategy with a cross-functional team
- Understand customers' business needs, priorities, and industry direction
- Proven experience selling complex software solutions in hunter roles (Sales Exec / Account Manager / Account Director)
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles and close large 6–7 figure ARR deals
- Experience producing new business, negotiating, and maintaining C-level relationships
- Strong network of C-Level and IT/business leaders in major Italian accounts
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Bachelor's degree with IT exposure (MBA preferred)
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- Experience in API Management, MFT, B2B, and Collaboration solutions is a plus
- Ability to work independently to achieve results
