Hampton by Hilton Milan Bergamois a new 257-room hotel opening in 2027 at Orio al Affidabile, a 15-minute walk fromMilan Bergamo Airport (BGY). Designed around early and late flights, it has aground-floor social hub with a restaurant, a bar, a lounge and a co-workingzone. Bergamo's Città Alta is 5 km away and Milan is about 50 km.

We are looking for a hands-onand motivated General Manager to lead the hotel from pre-opening through launchand beyond: building the team, setting the culture, and delivering strongcommercial and guest satisfaction results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead all pre-opening activities, including the openingcritical path, recruitment and training of the full hotel team, setting upsystems and procedures, and preparing the hotel for Hilton opening approval.
- Lead and manage all hotel operations after opening,including Front Office, Housekeeping, Breakfast/F&B;, Engineering, Sales andFinance.
- Ensure full implementation of and compliance withHilton and Hampton by Hilton Brand Standards.
- Prepare hotel budgets, forecasts and business plans forcorporate and owner approval; review forecasts and the balanced scorecard.
- Direct actions required to maximise profitability,increase service levels and improve team member satisfaction.
- Oversee sales, marketing and revenue strategy andresults; lead sales and marketing strategy meetings and actively participate insecuring business.
- Build the hotel’s presence in the local market bydeveloping relationships with corporate clients, the airport, travel partnersand the local community.
- Lead the department heads to ensure that profit,service and team member satisfaction goals are met or exceeded.
- Hire, supervise,
coach and evaluate department headsand key personnel; develop the skills of direct reports and support the growthof high-potential team members.
- Communicate regularly with the hotel owners andpartners on results and align strategic plans for the future development of thehotel.
- Work closely with Apex Alliance corporate departmentson implementing standards, procedures and policies, and provide feedback oncompany-wide initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a General Manager or HotelManager, ideally within Hilton or another international hotel brand; experiencein the select-service or focused-service segment is an advantage.
- Pre-opening experience is strongly preferred.
- Leadership experience of 5 years or more, with a proventrack record of achieving revenue and service objectives.
- Extensive knowledge of hotel operations, sales andmarketing, revenue management, human resources and hotel financial processes.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to managelarge amounts of information and give clear direction.
- Proven ability to recruit, motivate, train and lead ateam of professionals.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities andwork effectively under time and resource constraints.
- Ability to work effectively with owners, guests andteam members with tact and diplomacy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication andpresentation skills.
- Fluent in Italian and English.
