We have one open position of Linux System Engineer with one of our client based in Italy. This is a Permanent/Contract/Freelance role with 100% remote option within Italy. Below is the full job description for your reference.

Mode: Contract/Freelance/B2B

Location: Italy(Fully Remote)

Job Summary

- Installation configuration management maintenance and administration of Redhat Linux servers version 6 7 and 8
- Experience in working with HP Blade and Rack servers
- knowledge of Hardware RAID 5 6 and 10
- Experience with Linux based DNS servers Bind LVM etc
- configuration and management of Postfix SMTP server
- experience with Dovecot and Clam AV and Amavis configurations
- experience with kickstart installations of Linux servers
- experience in configuring Network bonding kernel tuning
- Understanding of Katello and foreman for provisioning and configuration of Redhat servers
- configuration and management of central syslog server
- Clear understanding of Monitoring concepts




- Configuration and management of Redhat clusters
- Knowledge of ITSM ticket management systems
- Good Experience in Infrastructure automation tools Puppet and Ansible
- Working knowledge on Suse Linux would be Plus
- Hands on experience in Managing virtual machines on VMware vCenter servers
- Understand VMware virtualization concepts Datastores DRS High availability and replication methodologies
- Knowledge on Disaster recovery concepts and implementation
- Knowledge of SAN Storage technologies fiber channel and iScsi storage types
- Worked on ITSM tools like Service Now
- Redhat Enterprise Linux server 6 7 and 8
- Puppet Ansible
- Foreman and Katello
- Redhat Satellite servers
- HP Blade enclosure and server hardware
- Postfix mail server
