/p pKeysight is looking for a Wireless Protocol Software Engineer with strong 3GPP protocol expertise, focused on Layer 3 (L3), to support advanced 5G and pre?6G wireless system development.
/p pYou will work close to standards and real implementations, translating evolving protocol specifications into scalable and robust software components that directly impact system behavior and performance.
/p pThis role provides deep technical ownership of L3 protocol stacks within a multi?site international environment.
/p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign, develop,



integrate, and optimize the bL3 protocol stack (RRC) /b /li liSupport bUE emulation /b /li liContribute to b5G standards /b, following b3GPP evolution /b /li liTranslate evolving requirements (3GPP releases, operator acceptance needs, O?RAN priorities) into clear software designs, test workflows, and reusable components /li liCollaborate with cross?functional experts (systems, RF, protocol, product, customers/partners) to reproduce field issues, debug complex behaviors, and validate fixes with strong broot?cause discipline /b /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liStrong expertise in b3GPP LTE / NR /b /li liFocus on bL3 protocols (RRC) /b /li libC / C++ /b /li libMulti?threading and real?time programming /b /li liSoftware development and debugging /li liExperience working in a bmulti?site environment /b /li liTechnical communication in bEnglish /b /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience with bCI/CD /b, test frameworks, containers, and/or cloud?based environments /li /ul pTools: Git, Valgrind/Polaris, JIRA, Wireshark /p pCareers Privacy Statement /p pKeysight is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
