Overview
In this role you will manage comprehensive financial operations for a Mantova-based subsidiary of a leading global construction machinery group.
You will support financial reporting to management and Headquarters, work cross-functionally, and contribute to system and process improvements in a fast-growing environment.
The position offers exposure to international group reporting and close collaboration with Sales, Procurement, Logistics, Operations and HR.
You will help strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance across local tax and VAT requirements.

Responsabilità
Maintain accurate financial records and support P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow and management reporting
Handle day-to-day finance operations: bank reconciliations, AP/AR, supplier invoices, payments and employee expenses
Participate in month-end and year-end closings including journals and accruals
Support tax compliance and VAT submissions with external accountants and tax advisers
Assist in budgeting,



forecasts and cost monitoring, flag variances and cost savings opportunities
Prepare audit documentation and liaise with auditors; strengthen internal controls and processes
Collaborate with Sales, HR, Procurement, Logistics, Operations and HQ on reporting requests and projects
Support finance-related projects, system implementation and process improvements
Requisiti fondamentali
Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Min. 3 years in a finance/accounting role focusing on bookkeeping, reconciliations and month-end closing
Working knowledge of local accounting and tax requirements including VAT
Experience with external accountants, tax advisers and auditors
Experience in a subsidiary of an international group with reporting to foreign HQ is a strong plus
Strong Excel skills and experience with an ERP or accounting system
Strong attention to detail, numerical and analytical skills; collaborative and discreet handling of sensitive information
