OverviewIn this role you will lead and coordinate Local Business Line projects for Turbine Control, ensuring technical execution meets contracts, safety, and quality standards.
You'll support testing, installation, and commissioning across multiple projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve work plans.
You'll evaluate supplier proposals and manage scope, budget, and schedules to deliver on time and within cost.
This position blends hands-on engineering with planning, vendor interaction, and field activities including commissioning in Italy and abroad.

ResponsabilitàCoordinate engineering discipline across Turbine Control projects
Provide testing, installation, and commissioning technical support
Design experiments, analyze data, and prepare project documents
Improve work plans with other functions
Collaborate with Supply Chain to align technical requirements with suppliers
Evaluate supplier proposals for fit-for-purpose equipment/services
Develop and apply standard techniques, procedures, and tools
Ensure compliance with safety and contractual requirements
Prepare proposals/presentations (BOMs, engineering hours)
Create work plans and cost estimates; review scope, budget, and schedule; ensure on-time, within-cost deliveries
Requisiti fondamentaliTechnical diploma or Degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering
?3 years in Steam/Gas Turbine control applications or Industrial Automation
Experience with Automation products in Oil & Gas or Power Generation
Background in Automation (DCS, I&C;, Protection systems); knowledge of ABB Control Systems is a plus
Understanding of network engineering and IT/IS basics
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD-related tools (CAD/AUTOCAD, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe)
Customer-focused mindset with ability to build relationships
Willingness to travel for commissioning (Italy and abroad) and bilingual English/Italian
