We are looking for aSite Manager – Bologna.
The successful candidate will lead operations at our newBologna site, taking full responsibility foroperational performance, people, safety, financial results and customer relationship.
What Will You Do
Warehouse Management:organize and plan daily activities in line with customer requirements, ensuring efficient management of operational flows, inventory, inbound and outbound activities, returns and materials.
Take fulloperational and financial responsibilityfor managing a safe, efficient and profitable site, ensuring high operational standards for both the organization and the customer.
Lead thechange mindset towards standardization, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Manage, engage and develop a large operational team of approximately250 employees, fostering accountability, performance and collaboration.
Build and maintainstrong, long-term relationships with customers, ensuring service excellence and alignment with business expectations.




Monitor the site'sorganizational structure and span of control, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Lead by example, reinforcing behaviors aligned withDHL culture, leadership principles and operational standards.
Manage external providers supporting the site's general services, includingsecurity, infrastructure and maintenance.
Ensure full compliance withsafety, quality and operational standards, promoting a strong safety culture across the site.
Requirements
Master's degreein Engineering, Economics or a related field.
Solid experience inLogistics / Supply Chain, preferably gained in complex or industrial environments.
Significant experience indirect people management, ideally within large operational teams.
Proven track record inpeople leadership and industrial relations / union management.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to define and successfully deploy astrategic plan for the site.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with knowledge ofLean Manufacturing, WCM, TPM, Six Sigmaor similar continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong customer orientation and ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Team playerwith a proactive, collaborative and positive mindset.
