Galileo is a fast-growing renewable energy IPP, investor and operator , currently in the very dynamic start-up phase.Since our foundation in 2020, we have secured a pipeline of over17 GWofsolarPV,onshore wind,offshore windandstorageprojects across 9 marketsin Europe.
We are looking for a M&A; and Project Finance Analyst to assist in evaluating and executing new investment opportunities andfinancing solutions across different renewable energy technologies (solar PV,wind onshore and offshore as well as BESS).Working across the M&A; andProject Finance teams, this person will be based in Milan(with thepossibility of hybrid remote working)and report to the Head of Project Finance.
What you’ll do
- Contribute to the successfulexecution of sell-side, buy-side and partnership transactions by working on thewhole spectrum from inception to closing.
- Build and maintain integrated financial modelsfor M&A;, project valuation and project finance purposes, includingsensitivity analyses and scenario assessments.
- Analyse and roll-out the strategicentry in new geographical markets and the development of new business models(solar I&C;, BESS, floating offshore).
- Contribute to the analysis of project economicsand investment returns, supporting decision-making across development,construction and operational phases.
- Support the structuring, negotiation andexecution of project finance transactions, refinancing processes and other debtraising activities.

Requirements
- Excellentacademic background with a degree in Economics, Finance, BusinessAdministration or Management Engineering (degrees in STEM are also suitable, ifaccompanied with background in economics or finance);
- Initial work experience (ideally upto 2 years) within consulting, private equity, infrastructure funds, investmentbanking/M&A;, or corporate M&A; or project finan
