Offer Description
The project activities will include the assessment of the surgeon’s ergonomics and cognitive and physical workload during robot-assisted procedures. Specific indicators will be identified and monitored to evaluate fatigue, discomfort, and workload.
The activities will also focus on developing adaptive strategies that enable the robot to modify its behavior and operating parameters according to the surgeon’s condition, with the aim of optimizing ergonomic and workload indices while ensuring procedural safety and effectiveness. Specifically, these activities are part of WP2, “Trustworthy DL algorithms for scene understanding and ergonomy assessment” contributing to the development of Tasks 2.2, 2.4.
