Key Responsibilities
- Works with the unit’s business functions to understand needs
- Manage all purchasing activities including supplier contracts, price negotiations, and RFQ management for your own area of responsibility
- Act as the contract owner for direct material suppliers and support the implementation of global/area category plans
- Identify and drive new cost savings initiatives to support profitability
- Manage supplier quality and on-time delivery in collaboration with the stakeholders.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, supply chain management, or business)
- 3 or more years work experience in procurement
- Experience in leading supplier negotiations and managing supplier relationships with local, regional, and global suppliers
- Familiarity with SAP is an asset
- Knowledge of electrification and/or electronics supply markets and technology is an asset
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a multinational environment
- Fluent English and Italian other languages are an asset
- Willingness for short business trips within the European Union (and, occasionally, to China)
Employment Terms
- This position is based in Cadrezzate con Osmate (VA), Italy.
- Employment under the Italian National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Metalworking Industry
- Gross annual salary starting from €48,000, commensurate with experience and skills
- The compensation package is complemented by variable incentives and company benefits
