We are looking for a highly driven, entrepreneurial, analytical and customer-obsessed individual join the Business Development team in Italy. You will join the team selling Amazon Shipping services and will be responsible for developing a strong pipeline of the largest companies in Italy, detect opportunities, negotiate with external companies and close sales, as well as collecting market segment and customer insights to improve the product and delight the Amazon customers.Ideal candidateYou are excited by contributing to launching and developing a new businessYou are passionate about collaborating with different teams: Marketing, Customer Programs, Operations, Legal, etc.You have a proven track record in sales, and executing to meet or exceed these goalsYou excel at establishing top level relationships with customers, and are able to assess their needs, and work to find the best solutions for themYou are a self-starter and can juggle multiple priorities to make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly ambiguous environmentYou have experience in developing trustful relationships with external and internal stakeholders, including key accounts and teams across Operations, Procurement, Finance, LegalYou can easily shift between strategic thinking and rolling up your sleeves and executing, in order to deliver resultsKey job responsibilitiesLeadership: be part of the organization’s leadership team and help implementing the overall strategy and directionCustomer relationship management: Building and maintaining strong top-level relationships with potential future strategic customersCross-functional collaboration: work with operations, product, and tech leaders to manage the program and build a product that fits the needs of customersDive deep: Measure performance, identify gaps and opportunities, and lead the team to address themBusiness development:
Bring new customers to Amazon, develop the volume of shipping packages, ensure good convertion rate and do it with profitability in mind.This role will be based in MilanBasic QualificationsBachelor’s degreeExperience in business development, sales and account management in B2BDemonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environmentStrong ownership and deliver resultsExcellent communications skills and the ability to effectively advise senior leadershipAbility to prioritize and demonstrate relentless discipline in setting and achieving goalsProfessional in Italian and EnglishPreferred QualificationsPreferred qualifications are not required to apply for a position at Amazon.
