ppBowman has an opportunity for a CAD Technician/Party Chief II to join our team in Etna, NH. This hybrid position combines field surveying leadership with CAD drafting responsibilities to support accurate and timely project delivery. /p h3Purpose /h3 pThis hybrid position combines field surveying leadership with CAD drafting responsibilities to support accurate and timely project delivery. The role performs survey fieldwork, processes collected data and creates detailed CAD drawings to support engineering and construction projects. This position bridges the gap between field operations and office production, ensuring smooth communication and quality deliverables. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 h3Leadership and Direction /h3 ul liLead and coordinate daily field survey activities, assigning tasks to crew members and ensuring work is completed safely and accurately. /li liServe as the primary liaison between field crews, project managers, and office staff. /li liMaintain and care for survey instruments, vehicles, and field equipment. /li /ul h3Operational and Company Level /h3 h3Field Survey Operations /h3 ul liConduct topographic, boundary, construction staking, and other land surveys using GPS, robotic total stations, and conventional survey equipment. /li liVerify accuracy of collected field data, identifying and resolving discrepancies on site. /li liFollow all safety protocols, maintain daily logs, and ensure compliance with OSHA and company requirements. /li /ul h3CAD Drafting and Data Processing /h3 ul liImport, process, and adjust field survey data using appropriate software. /li liProduce clear, accurate CAD drawings, base maps, and survey plats in compliance with project specifications and company standards. /li liCross-check and verify survey data with existing records and design requirements. /li /ul h3Do the Work /h3 ul liDeliver work within established timelines and quality standards. /li liCollaborate with engineers, planners, and project managers to ensure survey deliverables meet project needs. /li liAssist in mentoring junior staff in both field and CAD processes. /li /ul h3Success Metrics and Competencies /h3 ul liAbility to work both independently and within a team environment. /li liHighly motivated and problem‑solving attitude. /li liStrong sense of urgency in responding to constituents.
