pWe are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Engineer Project Associate to lead certification and testing projects from initiation through completion. In this role, you will work closely with clients, laboratories and internal stakeholders to evaluate products against applicable standards, manage project timelines and provide technical guidance throughout the certification process. Success in this position requires strong engineering expertise, project management skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with customers while delivering high-quality, compliant solutions. /pullipDetermines project scope, develops a preliminary plan of investigation, and determines project specifications such as cost, time, and sample requirements by analyzing client input, available supplemental data, and product construction. /p /lilipProjects may include travel to conduct or witness tests at client sites. Initiates communication with clients to promote and explain the benefits of new and existing services. /p /lilipFollows up on contacts from clients. /p /lilipCommunicates with clients to discuss technical issues, explain UL procedures and requirements, convey project cost, and negotiate completion date and sample requirements. /p /lilipActs to address client concerns and to resolve client issues. /p /lilipProvides technical assistance to clients in reference to product inspection and follow-up services. /p /lilipEstablishes appropriate test programs by reviewing files and manufacturer's information, examining samples, and applying UL requirements. /p /lilipIs familiar with applicable standards, company manuals and appropriate technical literature. /p /lilipExamines samples for compliance with UL requirements and notifies client of any areas in which the product is not in compliance or of any changes in project scope or specifications. /p /lilipCoordinates laboratory activities by preparing data sheets and instructions to technicians,



scheduling and reviewing work of laboratory technicians and engineering support staff and establishing completion dates. /p /lilipCoordinates administrative aspects of project management. /p /lilipServes as Project Handler of record and may sign as Reviewer of record as assigned. /p /lilipCommunicates project status and results to clients through frequent contact and by preparing reports. /p /lilipPrepares Follow-Up Service Procedures and information pages. /p /lilipIntegrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job. /p /lilipResolves engineering issues associated with Variation Notices by analyzing and reporting on the acceptability of the variations. /p /lilipAssists in the development of UL requirements. /p /lilipAssists in developing special test methods and test equipment. /p /lilipAnalyzes test program for adequacy and sequence. /p /lilipMay coordinate and/or perform File Reviews, as directed. /p /lilipMay represent UL at industry related functions such as seminars and trade shows. /p /lilipRead and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices. /p /lilipPerforms other duties as directed. /p /lilipUniversity Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology or Physics from an accredited program plus two years directly related experience. /p /lilipDetailed knowledge of the technical vocabulary common to the appropriate discipline. /p /lilipBasic knowledge of laboratory testing apparatus and techniques common to the appropriate discipline. /p /li /ulh3What we offer: /h3ulliThe annual salary range for this position is EUR 30.900 - 41.100 gross, determined by numerous factors,
