The acoustics engineer will work closely with aerodynamicist and structural design engineers to collaborate on the design considerations for the noise of the aircraft. /ph3Main Activities / What performs, What prepares, What supports, What contributes to... /h3ulliOperate acoustic simulation tools (COMSOL, Actran,



PowerFLOW); /liliPerform acoustic analyses of aircraft systems and components using data obtained from simulations and flight or ground tests; /liliDevelop and maintain acoustic analysis tools and scripts; /liliConduct trade studies on both configuration and operational changes aimed at reducing noise and vibration; /liliPredict interior and exterior aircraft noise levels, including propeller noise and its transmission to aircraft structures and cabins. /li /ulh3Main Outputs /h3ulliDevelop models to predict aeroacoustic loads, propeller noise, and noise propagation; /liliResearch existing technologies and develop innovative approaches to optimize acoustic performance; /liliPerform duct acoustics and acoustic liner analyses, including the development of analysis tools and scripts; /liliOperate acoustic and vibration simulation tools, and provide technical guidance to others in their use for the generation and interpretation of acoustic and vibration data. /li /ulh3Main Interfaces /h3pThe acoustic engineer will work closely with various internal groups to guide the aircraft design from a noise and vibration perspective. /ph3Requirements / Requisiti /h3h3Education /h3pMaster's degree in Engineering; PhD preferred. /ph3Experiences/ Skill /h3ulliExperience with computational acoustics analysis techniques; /liliExperience in validation of analysis results against other sources, such as test data, previously published literature, theoretical source models; /liliNoise measurement and data acquisition skills, experience making measurements in anechoic/hemi-anechoic chambers/tunnels; /liliStrong experience in aerodynamics field. /li /ululliLevel of written and spoken English, Fluent in spoken and written English /liliMotivation Highly motivated /li /ulh3Attitudes /h3ulliDecision Making /liliProblem Solving /liliTeam work /li /ulpSeniority: Junior /ppPrimary Location: IT - Napoli - Pomigliano /ppContract Type: Permanent /ppTotal Base Pay Range: €32.731,92 - €43.000 /ppHybrid Working: Hybrid /ppPublished by Leonardo. /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
