In this role you will be the primary owner of the local financial control framework for ERM's Italian entities, ensuring financial integrity, statutory compliance, and a robust controls environment. You will collaborate with the GDC, external auditors, tax advisors, and regional teams to maintain Italian GAAP compliance and provide governance-driven insights. Lead statutory reporting, audits, and complex accounting judgments while contributing to finance transformation. Responsabilità

- Drive and oversee the overall financial controls environment
- Review and approve key balance sheet reconciliations and financial positions prepared by the GDC
- Identify risks and opportunities within financial reporting and provide recommendations to leadership
- Ensure adherence to ERM policies, controls, and accounting standards
- Lead statutory accounting activities and ensure compliance with Italian GAAP and local regulatory requirements




- Maintain oversight of local statutory books and reporting obligations
- Support VAT and other local compliance requirements in collaboration with specialist teams
- Lead statutory, tax, and financial audits; coordinate with external auditors and advisors
- Support Group audit requirements and ensure timely resolution of audit matters
- Provide expert accounting guidance on complex transactions and align with GDC policies
- Collaborate with Finance Directors, FP&A;, Tax, Treasury, HR, and operational leaders
- Contribute to finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives

Requisiti fondamentali

- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline
- Significant experience in financial controllership, accounting, audit, or finance management
- Strong knowledge of Italian GAAP, statutory reporting, and compliance requirements
- Experience managing external audits and regulatory relationships
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong Excel and ERP system experience
- Fluent Italian and English (C1)
