At Saipem, we embrace diversity as a driver of innovation and inclusion, while prioritizing people’s safety and environmental sustainability, even in the most challenging conditions.Purpose of the position: As Piping and Layout Engineer you will be part of the ENCAR / TUBFA Fano Office.How can you support us?Ensure the execution of the engineering activities within own area of responsibility, works following the TM guidelines, cooperates with the other Project positions and ensures the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements.Tasks include:Provide technical support to other Project positions for specialist aspectsAnalyse and u nderstand Tender documentationDefine Discipline list of activities and deliverables and coordinate activities in accordance with Project scheduleIdentify technical queries, deviations and alternatives to be submittedImplement bidding methodologies,
design criterias and guidelinesDefine and issue Request for quotation for not estimated in-house itemsCoordinate material quantities and weight estimationPrepare engineering manhour and material cost estimationsSupport the Proposal Manager during technical clarification meetings with the ClientEnsure the achievement of the assigned goal and the fulfillment of the Project quality and contractual requirements. Take the necessary corrective actions within the Discipline Project Team to meet the assigned goal. Report to the TM for more extensive problemsDefine list of activities and deliverables, setup time schedule, coordinate activities in accordance with contractual requirementsEnsure Discipline Project progress, monitor and control manhour consumptionPrepare technical annexes for engineering activities to be subcontractedEnsure subcontractor coordination and monitoring/reporting to PM of the Discipline budget costsEnsure proper Discipline workflow, interfaces, quality checks an d approval of all Discipline Project documents, including Vendor onesTrack and report to TM Discipline scope of work changes updating manhour and cost estimatesProvide technical support to Project functions including Procurement and ConstructionSupport PM in technical interfacing with the Client (according to TM)Define and issue Purchase RequisitionsEnsure Technical Bid EvaluationsProvide technical support for the definition of the Discipline construction inspection planManage Vendor inspection test plan approval and support post order activitiesSupport the construction team in implementing the engineering solutions at siteWhat are we looking for?Education:Master's Degree/bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/ Industrial EngineeringBackground:1/2 years as Piping and Layout Engineer; University projects or internship within mechanical / Industrial EngineeringWhat else should you know?Some travelling will be expected within EMEA, Africa, Worldwide, etcWhat we can offer to you:For home office contract: Pay not lower than 38.000€ (Corporate BenefitsWe offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, internal gym, discounts and partnerships, services related to health, family, well-being, and in-house cafeteria.Hybrid working model[if applicable]: Lavoro da remoto options and flexible hours to help you achieve a better work-life balance.Transparency NoteAt the end of the selection process, the Company reserves the right to offer a different job level and/or salary package compared to what is indicated in this job posting, in line with the candidate’s professional experience, technical and soft skills.Any deviation shall be duly justified and documented in accordance with internal procedures and the Non-Discrimination Statement.
