To strengthen our team on our Westlake Global Compounds site in Samarate, Italy, we are looking for a committed HR Business Partner (m/f/d).
ABOUT THE ROLE
People are at the heart of everything we do. As an HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in shaping an engaging workplace where employees and leaders can thrive. Acting as a trusted advisor to the business, you will partner with managers, support employees throughout their career journey, and drive HR initiatives that contribute directly to our site's success.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a trusted partner and coach to managers on all employee and organizational matters
- Support the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to development, performance management, and offboarding
- Foster a positive employee experience and help build a high-performing, inclusive workplace culture
- Advise on employee relations topics and ensure compliance with labor legislation and company policies
- Collaborate with employee representatives and support industrial relations activities
- Drive talent management, learning, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives
- Support compensation, benefits, payroll, and workforce planning processes
- Analyze HR data and trends to provide insights that support business decisions
- Lead and contribute to local and global HR projects and change initiatives
- Promote our company values and help strengthen employee engagement across the site
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Several years of HR experience, ideally as a Human Resources Generalist or HR Business Partner in an international manufacturing environment
- Good knowledge of Italian labor law and employee relations practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels
- Experience advising managers on performance, talent, and organizational topics
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills
- Analytical thinking and confidence in working with HR data and metrics
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Fluent Italian and English language skills
