Job Summary
Supports the Chief Engineer as the primary operational point of contact for the Engineering department, providing day-to-day leadership, guidance, and supervision to the Engineering team. Oversees engineering and maintenance operations, including the maintenance of the building, grounds, and physical plant, with particular attention to safety, security, and asset protection. Assists in managing departmental budgets, capital expenditure projects, preventive maintenance programs, and energy conservation initiatives. Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements and company standards. Coordinates and monitors the activities of Engineers and external contractors, driving performance, accountability, and service excellence across the department.



Plays a key role in leading the emergency response team and managing facility-related issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education And Experience
High school diploma or GED; 3 years experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area; technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing.
OR
2-year degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major; 1 year experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area; technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing.

Managing Engineering Operations and Budgets
Manages the physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment and electrical systems.
Ensures regulatory compliance to facility regulations and safety standards.
Manages and controls heat, light and power and recommends current best methods for energy conservation and economical facility operat
