Job Description
Operates ultrasonic equipment to produce images of the body's organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes. Performs sonographic examinations to locate, evaluate and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data. Records test results, inspects and maintains equipment, and orders supplies when needed. Reviews physician requisition orders and instructions concerning patient preparation for ultrasound procedure. May communicates to OB/GYN nursing team status of patient condition pre and post procedure.
Performs ultrasound imaging for fetal diagnosis and anomaly detection for patients with high-risk indications.
Schedule
Nights 4 (10hr) shifts Mon - Thursday
Education
Graduate of an approved and accredited Ultrasound program
Experience
-
- 3-5 years of experience in US preferred.
- Position may require some overtime, on call responsibilities, and ability to coordinate several activities simultaneously.
Licenses/Certificates
-
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or ARDMS registered or registry eligible
- CPR certification required.
