Job Overview:
Typically manages multiple Contracts Management delivery at the large EPC level. Has accountability for the Contracts Management and Claims Success of allocated Contracts at the large projects level. Develops and maintains a positive relationship with internal functions and clients All levels of Contracts Specialist and administrators.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Departmental improvement initiatives delivery
Provide manpower and bid forecasts to Business Line Management as necessary
Manage the relationships with all Contracts Management Stakeholders including:
Project Management
Engineering
Procurement
Subcontracts
Fabrication
Construction
Marine Installation
Hook Up and Commissioning
Consortium or JV Partner
QHSE
Legal
Finance
Business Line Management
EXCOM
Customer/Client
Contribute to the Annual Business Line budget
Contribute to Department goals and strategy
Contribute to General improvement of department and systems
Contract negotiations with customers/clients




Coordinate with Contracts Director/Senior Contracts Director on workloads and resources
Ensure Contracts & Senior Contracts Specialists coordinate appropriate activities
Own and lead the implementation, enforcement, and verification of compliance with all McDermott policies and procedures
Ensure employees understand their responsibility and authority to effectively implement the requirements of all McDermott policies and procedures
Ensure the timely completion of all mandatory training by themselves and their teams
Essential Qualifications and Education:
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Engineering, legal, Commercial, or Quantity Surveying and 10 years of Contracts Management experience in addition to other functional experience with at least 5 years of management experience
Proven experience in contract management within the Engineering Procurement Construction and Installation (EPC/EPCI) industry, in the areas of Energy Transition, Onshore, or Off
