This role ensures the effective implementation of Nestlé's Food Safety and Quality Management Systems while driving continuous improvement across the factory. It provides technical expertise to prevent and resolve quality issues, promotes strong GMP and hygiene standards, and supports teams through targeted training. The position manages risk assessments, consumer complaint analysis, and root‐cause investigations to safeguard product integrity.
It also oversees quality-related change management to maintain full compliance and food‐safety protection on site.
A day in the life of a Quality Specialist
Provide technical expertise as quality specialist to resolve internal and external quality defects by leading food safety management programs and facilitating quality improvement initiatives
Ensure food safety management system documentation is updated and effective. Assess the Nestlé Food Safety Management System is in place, and is obtaining expected results
Promote quality awareness across the company by delivering training for their specific areas of expertise e.g. hygiene, foreign bodies, HACCP, pest control, cleaning validation. Promote GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards at whole factory as Hygiene Champion
