This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Engineer (AI‑Native) based in Italy.
Own product features end-to-end, from identifying a problem to shipping reliable solutions into production.
You’ll work at the forefront of AI‑native software development, using AI agents as your primary development partners rather than writing code manually.
The role combines senior engineering expertise, product ownership, architecture, integrations, and rigorous technical judgment.
You’ll independently work with external providers, define integration requirements, and turn ambiguous problems into production‑ready features.
A key part of the role is critically reviewing AI‑generated implementations and ensuring every delivered solution meets high standards for reliability and quality.
You’ll work as an individual contributor within a remote, international team and help continuously evolve an AI‑first engineering process.
This is an opportunity for an entrepreneurial engineer to shape how modern product development is executed with increasingly capable AI agents.
Accountabilities
- Own product features end-to-end, taking initiatives from a clearly defined problem statement through development, testing, deployment, and production.
- Independently identify what needs to be built and drive initiatives forward without relying on detailed specifications or step‑by‑step instructions.
- Engage directly with external partners and service providers, obtaining sandbox access, reviewing documentation, and agreeing on technical integration requirements.
- Collaborate with AI agents to create product and technical specifications, while maintaining full ownership and accountability for the quality and accuracy of every specification.
