Job Purpose
The Health & Safety Site Manager is responsible for leading and managing all Health & Safety activities within the Modena - San Matteo Site, ensuring full compliance with legal requirements, corporate standards, and industry best practices. The role drives the development of a proactive safety culture, supports operational excellence, and ensures the protection of all employees.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and implement the plant Health & Safety strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
- Promote a strong safety culture through leadership, communication, and employee engagement.
- Manage relationship with Union Representative for Safety (RLS) regarding safety topics.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, company policies, and standards.
- Lead risk assessments and hazard identification activities.
- Monitor legal requirements and coordinate their implementation.
- Oversee contractor safety management and workplace monitoring activities.
- Define and monitor H&S; KPIs, objectives, and targets.
- Analyze performance data and identify improvement actions.
Incident Management
- Lead investigations of accidents, incidents, near misses, and occupational injuries.
- Ensure root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive action
