We're looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join a long-term international project supporting a complex and mission-critical network environment based in Rome, Italy.LocationRome, ItalyHybrid model: up to 3 days remote per weekYour MissionYou will be responsible for the operation, administration, and continuous improvement of enterprise network services, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across a complex multi-tenant environment. You will also collaborate closely with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and business teams to deliver secure and scalable networking solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesConfigure and support Cisco network infrastructure (Nexus, Catalyst, routing & switching)Manage Cisco Meraki environments (switching, wireless, and security)Administer Cisco Firepower and F5 BIG-IP AFM firewallsSupport and maintain F5 Load BalancersConfigure and troubleshoot IPSEC VPN connectionsMonitor WAN performance and resolve network incidentsParticipate in cybersecurity initiatives and vulnerability remediationImplement secure network architectures and operational standardsAutomate operational tasks through scripting and automation toolsProduce technical documentation and support continuous service improvementsRequired Skills5+ years of networking experienceStrong expertise in Cisco Routing & SwitchingHands-on experience with Cisco Meraki solutionsExperience with F5 Load BalancersCisco Firepower and F5 AFM administrationTCP/IP networking knowledgeOSPF and BGP routing protocolsEnterprise LAN/WAN and Data Centre environmentsSD-WAN, MPLS,
