Job Description:
The Federal Chief Technologist Capture Presales is responsible for architecting solutions that will achieve customer business outcomes either within a specific technical domain, or across the broader company portfolio (hardware, software, services, and as a service offerings) in combination with all necessary third?party components (e.g. software and integration). This role will be supporting the pursuit of new business within the Federal Space, in HPE's Enterprise Technology Portfolio including but not limited to Data Center Solutions, Cloud Solutions, AI solutions, and Edge.
In this role the Federal Chief Technologist Capture Presales develops and articulates compelling, accurate, and relevant proposals and ensures customer's business and technical requirements are met.
Can be aligned to a specific area of technical expertise (e.g., products, solutions, services). Provides technical expertise to sales teams and customers (through sales presentations, product/solution demonstrations, etc.) aimed at gaining the customer mindshare within their domain. These jobs focus on technical selling to customers/partners. May be aligned to specific accounts based on business priority.
Presales experience is crucial for this role as this person will be expected to architect and design in order to support the sales team.
Preference is for the DC area, but for qualified candidates we may be open to other locations within the United States.
This role will be supporting a Federal customer, so the selected candidate must be a US citizen and have the ability to obtain a government issued security clearance.
