We're looking for a Ruby on Rails Engineer to join our remote team at Nebulab. In this role, you'll build and maintain e Commerce applications for international mid-market and enterprise clients, working primarily with Ruby on Rails, Solidus, and modern frontend technologies like React. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the full project lifecycle—from requirements gathering to delivery—while contributing to open-source projects and sharing knowledge with the team. This position is ideal for experienced Rails developers who are passionate about e Commerce, enjoy consulting work, and want to grow into leadership and mentorship responsibilities.
Job requirements
Production-level fullstack experience with Ruby on Rails Passion for building high-quality software and e Commerce solutions Strong communication skills for working with teammates and clients Inclusive, community-driven mindset with eagerness to learn and share knowledge Nice to have: Past consulting or management experience Familiarity with the Solidus framework Experience with React Experience with Shopify Plus and Hydrogen First 3 months: Onboard and familiarize yourself with our tech stack and ongoing projects Start contributing to small tasks and integrate with your team Participate in code reviews and pair programming sessions 3-6 months:
