pbTXT e-Tech /b, a company within the bTXT Group /b, is seeking an bAI Systems Engineer /b to join its bAerospace Aviation Business Unit /b.
/p pThe selected candidate will be involved in the study, development, and integration of algorithms for avionics systems, working within a multidisciplinary team focused on Artificial Intelligence, Modeling, Simulation, and Performance Analysis.
/p pThe initial activities will focus on the integration of Reinforcement Learning (RL) agents, already developed and trained in Python, into MATLAB/Simulink simulation environments.
Depending on project needs, the role may also include Computer Vision and Image Processing activities, leveraging both traditional and AI-based approaches for object detection and tracking from infrared imagery.
/p h3Key Responsibilities: /h3 ul liIntegrate Reinforcement Learning agents and trained models into MATLAB/Simulink simulation environments.
/li liConduct testing and validation activities to assess agent behavior and compare performance across different simulation scenarios.
/li liContribute to the enhancement, training, and optimization of existing algorithms and solutions.
/li liParticipate, according to project requirements, in the development of image processing, object recognition, and target tracking algorithms using both classical and AI-driven techniques.
/li liDevelop software tools for test execution, data analysis, and performance evaluation.
/li liCollaborate with the team on interface definition, system integration activities, and the preparation of technical documentation.
/li /ul h3Required Technical Skills: /h3 ul liSolid mathematical foundation, including knowledge of statistics and data analysis.
/li liProgramming skills and proficiency in Python for algorithm development and experimentation.
/li liAcademic, personal,



or professional experience in at least one of the following areas: Reinforcement Learning, or Computer Vision and Image Processing, using either traditional or AI-based approaches.
/li liInterest in modeling and simulation, with the ability to connect algorithmic behavior to system-level performance.
/li liBasic knowledge of optics, sensors, or infrared imaging.
/li liFamiliarity with C/C++ and/or Linux environments.
/li liGood command of written and spoken English.
/li /ul pWe welcome candidates with backgrounds primarily focused on either Reinforcement Learning or Image Processing, combined with a genuine interest in expanding their expertise into the complementary domain.
/p h3Preferred Qualifications: /h3 ul liFamiliarity with MATLAB and Simulink for modeling, simulation, and algorithm integration.
/li liKnowledge of machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
/li liExperience with tools and frameworks including Stable-Baselines, Gymnasium, Optuna, or Hydra.
/li liFamiliarity with integrating software components and models across Python and MATLAB/Simulink environments.
/li liKnowledge, including academic exposure, of target tracking algorithms and estimation techniques such as the Kalman Filter.
/li liBasic understanding of signal processing, sensors, and infrared imaging systems.
/li /ul h3Education: /h3 pBachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM discipline, such as: Engineering,
