Your role in Tenova: Junior Proposal Engineer
Description:
We are looking for a Proposal Engineer to join our Cold Rolling Downstream Team, supporting proposal development activities and contributing to the preparation of technical and commercial offers in line with client requirements, internal standards and project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for Cold Rolling projects.
- Assist in collecting, organizing and reviewing technical documentation required for offer development.
- Support the analysis of customer specifications and project requirements.
- Contribute to the preparation of preliminary layouts, technical descriptions and material lists.
- Collaborate with Engineering and other internal functions to gather technical and commercial information.
- Support cost estimation activities through the collection and organization of technical inputs and project data.
- Assist in the preparation and integration of technical documentation for final offer submission.
- Support the evaluation and comparison of suppliers' technical quotations.
- Contribute to risk assessment activities and proposal review processes.
- Monitor and update proposal documentation, ensuring consistency and completeness of information.
- Support market and technology monitoring activities within the cold rolling sector.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing within the team.
What we ask for
- Degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Automation Engineering.
- Knowledge of contract types and their main features, including international contracts.
- Knowledge of CRM and SAP.
- Knowledge of CAD Software, basic automation and data analysis tools is considered a plus.
- Fluent English is mandatory (written and spoken) and additional language is an added value.
- Strong teamwork, proactivity, and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

For the position, the starting gross annual salary will be from € 35.000, with the final offer determined based on the candidate’s seniority, experience, and skills, as well as the outcome of the selection process.
