Overview

In this role you lead the design and delivery of site infrastructures for technically demanding projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. You act as project lead, interfacing with clients from feasibility to completion, and guide surveys, design development, permitting, and procurement. You supervise civil construction activities and contribute to business development while sharing knowledge to raise service quality. The role blends BIM-driven design with sustainable, data-centre and industrial projects in a collaborative, global practice.

Responsabilità

- Lead the design and delivery of site infrastructures (roads and utilities) across multidisciplinary projects
- Act as project lead with direct client interface, guiding design ambitions
- Coordinate feasibility through completion with clients; define site surveys and data needs
- Develop site infrastructure designs through design, permitting and procurement stages
- Supervise civil construction works as part of the clerk of works team
- Support business development and client meetings, contributing to bid documentation




- Foster knowledge sharing within the team to maintain high service quality
- Lead and mentor colleagues in a digital/BIM environment, coordinating with other disciplines

Requisiti fondamentali

- Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 10 years’ consultancy experience
- Chartered professional status or in the process of gaining it
- Strong civil engineering design skills in surface water, foul water, energy, roads, earthworks, utilities
- Experience producing drawings, specifications, and reports within time and budget constraints
- Knowledge of Italian regulatory and planning framework and managing projects through planning
- Ability to lead design process from concept to detail and construction
- Experience coordinating internal and external design interfaces (architectural, structural, geotechnical, landscape, M&E;)
- Proficiency with Civil 3D/Revit; experience with Navisworks and clash detection; hydraulic modelling software
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and organisational skills
