Position Summary:
The Vice President of Human Resources provides executive leadership and strategic oversight of Crittenton's human resources operations, workforce strategy, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and employment law compliance. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role serves as the agency's subject matter expert in California employment law and HR best practices while leading initiatives that strengthen organizational culture, employee engagement, leadership development, and workforce retention. The Vice President oversees HR risk management, organizational change, payroll, benefits administration, and workforce analytics, ensuring HR strategies support operational excellence, financial sustainability, and organizational performance.
Essential Duties:

- Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for all Human Resources functions, ensuring alignment with Crittenton's mission,
organizational priorities, and operational needs.
- Serve as the agency's senior advisor on California employment law, workforce strategy, employee relations, compensation, and organizational development.
- Lead organizational change initiatives, including restructuring, workforce transitions, policy implementation, and operational improvements.
- Establish HR governance, policies, and performance standards that strengthen accountability, consistency, and organizational effectiveness.
- Lead agency-wide strategies to strengthen organizational culture, employee engagement, retention, and workplace accountability.
