Develop and execute the overall sales strategy for the Italianregion in alignment with company goals and objectives. Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions. Set ambitious revenue targets and establish sales quotas, ensuring consistent and sustainable growth.
Team Leadership and Management: Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team across multiple markets within the German region. Monitor and evaluate individual and team performance, providing coaching and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Market Expansion and Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances to expand market presence. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry influencers. Leverage market insights to refine product offerings and contribute to the development of new products/services.
Sales Operations and Execution: Oversee the sales process from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality customer interactions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and finance, to drive seamless execution of sales initiatives. Utilize data-driven insights to optimize sales processes and improve overall efficiency.
Performance Analysis and Reporting: Track and analyze sales metrics, pipeline, and revenue results, providing regular reports to executive leadership. Develop and deliver compelling presentations to communicate sales performance and strategies to internal and external stakeholders.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the sales budget for the Italia region, ensuring resource allocation aligns with strategic priorities.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience in a B2B environment, with a strong focus on the EMEA region. Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience in managing and motivating geographically dispersed sales teams. In-depth understanding of the German market, cultures, and business practices. High level of spoken and written business English.
