Job Title: Hotel Marketing Manager
Department: Sales & Marketing
Reports To: Director of Sales & Marketing / General Manager
Job Purpose
The Hotel Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, executing, and monitoring multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive room occupancy, food and beverage revenues, event bookings, and overall brand awareness. This role combines strategic planning, digital marketing, public relations, and guest engagement to maximize property revenue and market position.
Key Responsibilities1. Marketing Strategy & Campaign Management
- Develop and execute annual marketing strategies aligned with the hotel's business goals and revenue targets.
- Create targeted promotional campaigns for rooms, packages, restaurants, spas, and event venues.
- Manage the hotel’s marketing budget, allocating funds effectively to maximize ROI.
2. Digital Marketing & E-Commerce
- Oversee the hotel’s website content, ensuring up-to-date pricing, promotional offers, high-quality imagery, and SEO optimization.
- Manage Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaigns, search engine marketing (SEM), and online travel agency (OTA) marketing placements.
- Direct email marketing campaigns, including guest database segmentation, newsletters, and promotional broadcasts.
3. Social Media & Content Creation
- Manage all official social media profiles (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok), maintaining active posting schedules and high engagement.
- Coordinate photo/video shoots to generate high-resolution visual collateral for room products, culinary offerings, and guest experiences.
- Monitor guest reviews and online brand sentiment across platforms like TripAdvisor and Google Business Profile.

Public Relations & Event Management
- Serve as the primary contact for media agencies, travel bloggers, and influencers.
- Organize press trips, media events, and brand partnerships to enhance market visibility.
- Draft and distribute press releases for hotel launches, seasonal menus, and executive announcements.
5. Analytics & Revenue Alignment
- Analyze campaign performance using web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM software) and produce monthly ROI reports.
- Collaborate closely with the Revenue Management and Sales teams to align promotional campaigns with demand forecasts and occupancy gaps.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality Management, Communications, or Business Administration.
- Experience: 3–5 years of progressive marketing experience, preferably within the hotel, resort, or luxury hospitality sector.
- Technical Proficiencies:
- Social Media Management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
- Web analytics & SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush).
- Content Management Systems (WordPress, CMS) and Email Platforms (Mailchimp, CRM).
- Graphic design software basics (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
