Overview

As Lead Engineer, Testing and Qualification, you will design and implement data acquisition solutions for turbomachinery and climate technology projects. You will lead data collection, validation and post-processing during tests, and contribute to software development of a LabVIEW-based data system. The role combines hands-on test leadership with cross-functional collaboration and software enhancement to deliver robust, safe test outcomes.

You will influence test architectures and data-driven decisions that support innovative energy technologies.

Responsabilità
- Design DAS architecture for static and dynamic data in NPD programs
- Lead data acquisition during test execution and verify data consistency
- Post-process data, generate test reports, and review results with customers
- Collaborate with software engineers, suppliers, and customers to deliver integrated solutions




- Promote software innovation by optimizing data acquisition and related technologies
- Contribute to PLC-based control system design, validation, and integration for test facilities
- Define test bench control architectures and interfaces among instrumentation, DAS, PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and machine protection systems
- Develop and troubleshoot control logic, interlocks, alarms, and closed-loop control for safe tests
- Collaborate with test engineers and software developers to ensure integration of data acquisition with monitoring and automation

Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor's degree in STEM
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proven leadership and team-building abilities
- Experience in experimental data analysis and signal processing
- Experience in defining software architectures and design
- Basic experience with relational databases
- Ability to manage large data sets
- Fluency in English and Italian
