IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele , an internationally recognized clinical, scientific and academic institution specializing in highly complex medical conditions, is seeking Junior Laboratory Technicians to join the TIGET Clinical Lab (TCL), part of the Development Units of the San Raffaele Telethon Institute for Gene Therapy (SR-TIGET), coordinated by Dr.
Matias
Soncini . SR-TIGET was created in 1995 as a joint venture between Fondazione Telethon and Ospedale San Raffaele (OSR), with the mission to perform cutting-edge research on gene and cell therapy and to translate its results into therapeutic advances for genetic diseases. TCL is a Clinical Research laboratory that performs standardized analyses on samples from patients who have undergone experimental Cell and Gene Therapy. TCL is an AIFA autocertified Phase I laboratory where the biological effects of experimental Cell and Gene Therapy are studied following approved Clinical Protocols and in compliance with Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP).
Main activities
- Cellular immunology techniques: isolation of PBMCs, immunobeads purification, flow cytometry, short-term cell culture, western blot techniques;
- Molecular techniques (PCR and nucleic acid extraction, etc.);
- Managing and tracking biological samples following GCLP principles;
- Knowledge of English is required.
Basic Skills For The Ideal Candidate
- Scientific Bachelor's or Master's Degree, or qualification as Biomedical Laboratory Technician;
- At least one year of hands-on experience in cellular and/or molecular biology techniques;
- High accuracy, reliability, and precision;
- Team player, collaborative, proactive mindset.
Plus
- Experience in flow cytometry;
- Experience in molecular biology;
- Experience in GxP laboratories;
- Good oral and written English.
