What we do
Specialty chemicals runs on supply chains that most executives never see until they break. In 2021, a single grounded vessel closed the Suez Canal for six days. From late 2023, attacks in the Red Sea forced major carriers to reroute around the Cape of Good Hope. Low water on the Rhine has repeatedly constrained the movement of chemicals through Europe’s industrial heartland. Pandemics, cyberattacks and new regulation have disrupted the same flows by other routes.
The cost of these events is real, but the information needed to measure it sits far from the events themselves. HarbingerIQ closes that gap. Our flagship platform connects external disruption to a company’s operational information and translates exposure into financial consequence at the decision level, before the loss appears in the results.
We assess disruption across five forces: geopolitical, climate, health, cyber, and regulatory. Any one of them can compromise a critical port, corridor, or supplier. Together they define the risk that global chemical supply chains carry every day.

Our flagship platform is ready, and we are raising a seed round to bring it to market at scale.

The opportunity
Every large manufacturer carries this exposure, and few can quantify it before it arrives. You would join at the point where a ready platform meets a market that increasingly needs answers, with the chance to shape the company's commercial identity from the start.

Why this role exists
The platform is built. The next stage is about scale: building a commercial organization, raising capital, and winning the confidence of the largest names in specialty chemicals. We are looking for a co-founder who will lead that effort as Chief Executive Officer, working in close partnership with our technical co-founder, who leads engineering and product.

What you will do
Build the customer base. Open doors at large specialty chemicals and agrochemical producers through your own senior relationships, lead the commercial
