Key responsibilities in your new role You will help shape the future of embedded security by developing advanced cryptographic solutions for Infineon's security devices. Collaborating with a global team of experts, you will drive secure software innovation, strengthen protection against sophisticated attacks, and deliver technology that enables trusted digital interactions worldwide. Test, debug and optimize software on Infineon's Security Devices.

Implement test cases for automated regression testing. Execute threat modeling, code reviews and documentation. Collaborate with a very integrated multinational team, sharing knowledge and working closely with peers, including pair programming, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the highest security standards.

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed You are passionate about developing high-quality, security-critical software and approach challenges with accuracy, rigor, and a systematic mindset. A Master degree in Electrical Engineering , Mathematics , Computer Science or a similar field of studies. 3+ years of experience in cryptography and embedded software development or other relevant experience. Good knowledge of side-channel attacks ( DPA ), differential fault attacks ( DFA ) and probing attacks ,



as well as experience with the corresponding state-of-the art countermeasures.

Good know-how in embedded microcontroller programming (e.g. ARM Cortex) using assembler , C , and Object-Oriented programming. Proven experience implementing symmetric , asymmetric , hash based , or postquantum cryptographic algorithms.

Experience with security measures in microcontrollers and/or circuit design.

Fluency

English , German is a plus. Subject to meeting all job requirements, belonging to protected categories under Law 68/99 will be considered a preferential requirement As part of the selection process, the successful candidate will be required to provide a valid police certificate.

Salary pay information: Indicative salary range Padova, Italy €43.440 - €59.730 The stated salary comprises annual base pay and target variable compensation.
