The Field Engineering Manager provides leadership and oversight for the field technician ecosystem across assigned school sites. This role blends technical operations with brand stewardship, ensuring school environments reflect our organization’s standards of excellence in technology integration, reliability, and presentation. You’ll lead internal staff and external partners to deliver consistent, brand-aligned service that enhances the educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Management & Site Standards
- Serve as the primary custodian of brand and technology standards across school sites, ensuring physical and digital technology assets consistently represent the organization’s values and expectations.
- Conduct routine site inspections to verify adherence to our technology standards, field technician effectiveness, equipment setup, and user experience meet defined guidelines.
- Use checklists, site photos/videos, and feedback to monitor adherence and suggest improvements that align with school branding and user satisfaction.
- Collaborate with school leaders to reinforce standards and address gaps with practical, empathetic solutions.
Technical Operations & Oversight
- Ensure operational readiness of all technology systems across assigned schools, including hardware, software, networking, and security devices.
- Manage and maintain inspection checklists and visit protocols (weekly, monthly, seasonal) to enforce predictable, high-quality service delivery.
- Respond quickly and professionally to all escalations from school leadership, providing support during and outside of regular business hours as needed.
Field Leadership & Partner Management
- Mentor and guide internal technicians, fostering professional growth and encouraging accountability and excellence.
