Overview

As a Solutions Engineer, you will sit at the heart of our technical presales and customer

success teams, specializing in content delivery network (CDN) architectures and edge

services. You will act as a technical bridge between our enterprise clients and internal

engineering teams, helping design, configure, and troubleshoot high-performance content

delivery and web acceleration workflows. Collaborating closely with senior CDN engineers

and sales teams, this role offers a dedicated path to master enterprise-grade web

performance, caching strategies, and global edge security.

Tasks

- Assist in designing, configuring, and optimizing CDN delivery properties, caching

rules, and origin shield architectures for high-traffic web platforms.

- Support senior team members in configuring and managing edge security products

available on the CDN platform, including Web Application Firewalls (WAF), rate

limiting, and DDoS mitigation rules.

- Help troubleshoot complex content delivery issues, latency bottlenecks, cache-hit

ratio (CHR) optimizations, and security block logs.

- Help evaluate, test, and integrate multi-CDN strategies and edge computing services

to ensure maximum performance, availability, and protection.

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary technology departments to support customer

onboarding and proof-of-concept (PoC) setups involving edge technologies and

security configurations.

Required Skills:

- 1 year of experience in a “customer-facing” or technical support environment within

the web/cloud industry.

- 1+ years of professional technology experience with a strong foundational focus

on web technologies, HTTP protocols, DNS,



and caching mechanisms.

- Hands-on familiarity or solid theoretical knowledge of CDN concepts (e.g., edge

caching, TTLs, SSL/TLS termination, request routing).

- Basic understanding of web security principles (e.g., common vulnerabilities like

OWASP Top 10, basic WAF concepts, TLS/SSL encryption, and DDoS mitigation).

- Basic understanding of Zero Trust principles (e.g., least privilege access, identity-

aware proxies, and verifying device trust before granting network or application

access).

- Basic understanding and working knowledge of web page development (HTML,

CSS, JavaScript, asset loading lifecycle) and mobile application architectures (how

mobile clients consume APIs and static assets).

- Basic understanding of multi-cloud or web infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Nginx, Varnish,

or general SaaS platforms).

- Detail-oriented, eager to learn complex web performance metrics quickly, well-

organized, and comfortable troubleshooting technical issues.

- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with engineering colleagues and

technical clients.

- Strong Italian and English-speaking skills.

Education

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications

Engineering, or a related technical field.

Experience

- 0–2 years of overall technical experience in IT infrastructure, web engineering, or

technical support roles (with a strong passion for web performance, content delivery

networks, and edge security).

Retribuzione: €25.000,00 - €30.000,00 all'anno
