The successful candidate will be comfortable performing a wide range of tasks, from administration to strategy.

/p h3Accountabilities /h3 pWith reference to activities on highly complex projects/tenders, or on medium/low complexity international projects/tenders: /p ul liEnsure the issuance of an estimate of total external costs for highly complex tenders.




/li liPlan and forecast external costs (materials, services, packages, subcontractors) during the project execution phase in collaboration with the cost control office.
/li liProvide all supply chain inputs necessary to define and issue the integrated project plan.
/li liIssue and distribute planning and logistics documents (Logistics Plan, MPS, Inventory Report, etc.) to project teams.
/li liCoordinate all planning and logistics activities between legal entities involved in the project to ensure delivery of project materials (including spare parts and repair of failed materials) in line with project requirements.
/li liManage production launch activities (transfer orders, purchase orders, advance demand, etc.) in line with project planning.
/li liIssue purchase requests for all materials, external services, packages, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery.
/li liEnsure issuance of supplier logistics and supply planning documentation in line with contractual requirements (Performance Guarantee, Transport Plan, Procurement Plan, Manufacturing Plan, etc.).
/li liMonitor and report supplier performance (including logistics suppliers) in terms of production, FAT, delivery times, shipping, warehouse management,



and compliance with contractual requirements.
/li liIdentify and implement mitigation actions in case of risks or misalignments with supplier performance (e.g. delays in FAT or deliveries).
/li /ul h3Desired Skills / Knowledge /h3 ul liMinimum experience in Supply Chain /li liProject management /li liSupplier management /li liPurchasing and planning methods /li liVendor rating and supplier monitoring /li liTechnical and technological knowledge /li liRisk management /li liContinuous improvement /li liDocumentation management, MPS-MRP techniques /li liCost control and budgeting basics /li liLogistics and warehouse management /li liKnowledge of organisation and business processes /li /ul h3Education / Qualifications /h3 ul liDegree in Management Engineering (or equivalent) /li /ul h3Languages (optional) /h3 ul liEnglish language proficiency: minimum B2 level /li /ul pAt Hitachi Rail, there is a place for everyone.
