Pubblicato il 13-10-2026 - Buildo in Lombardia
We are looking for a Software Engineer to assist us in building exceptional web applications and tools.
Join us to transform ideas into high-quality products! This challenging and rewarding task will see you working with a vibrant team that shares attention to detail, focuses on quality, and seeks continuous improvement.
Who you are
- You are a passionate Software Engineer with a strong interest in AI , responsible for developing web applications using technologies such as TypeScript, React.js, Node.js, Python, and Generative AI tooling. Your primary focus is building great software; your AI knowledge is a key differentiator that sets you apart.
- You have solid experience working on one or more projects in the AI field, with a good understanding of large language models, LLM tooling, and evaluation techniques. Experience with different model providers, techniques such as RAG and fine-tuning are a plus.
- You are proactive and autonomous , with the seniority to own and drive small-scale projects end-to-end — from scoping to delivery — with minimal supervision. You are comfortable making decisions independently, moving fast, and adapting when things change. You thrive in a startup-like environment where ownership and initiative matter as much as technical skills.
- You are comfortable engaging with clients and prospects — you understand their business needs, translate them into concrete product requirements, and can hold a meaningful conversation about software architecture and AI-related topics: explaining concepts clearly, discussing possibilities and limitations,
and turning technical topics into actionable outcomes.
- You are great at working together with a team of designers, software engineers, and project managers to challenge and comprehend product needs from a business perspective.
- You are a fan of good UX , whether it's for your client's products or for tools used by your colleagues. You always aim for perfection and find the right balance between design and implementation.
- You are keen to design secure systems as it is a deliberate and integral part of the entire software design and development process.
- You are curious and have a lot of interests and experiences you enjoy sharing with your co-workers.
- You speak Italian fluently and English proficiently.
Who we are

- We take on challenging projects and develop them in-house . We are the first stakeholders of all the products we build.
- We continuously aim to enhance all aspects of our work , including technical skills and internal processes. We allocate a full day each week for our professional development.
- We promote a culture of kindness and empathy where every voice matters.
- We offer a gross annual salary of 35.000 - 50.000 euros, determined based on seniority, experience and specific skills, according to the objective criteria we adopt.
- We are Buildo.
