OLSA is an engineering and manufacturing company specialized in the design, development and production of high-technology equipment and complete process systems for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, cosmetic and fine chemical industries.
We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Designer with solid experience in the design of pressure vessels, tanks and process equipment, capable of working within a highly regulated environment and ensuring full compliance with international design codes and standards.
This role requires a strong technical background in mechanical design, pressure equipment regulations and engineering calculations, combined with a practical manufacturing-oriented mindset.
- Design and develop pressure vessels, tanks and process equipment in compliance with applicable international standards.
- Perform mechanical design activities according to PED 2014/68/EU, ASME Section VIII, and related codes and standards.
- Review customer specifications and User Requirement Specifications (URS)
to identify applicable regulatory and technical requirements.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design dossiers and manufacturing drawings.
- Interface with Notified Bodies, inspection agencies and customers during design reviews and certification processes.
- Design mechanical systems including agitators, mixers, lifting devices and supporting steel structures.
- Support product standardization and simplification initiatives to improve scalability and manufacturing efficiency.
- Monitor and implement updates related to international pressure equipment regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
What We Are Looking For
