In this role you will work closely with operations and business development to ensure land logistics service providers perform at high levels. You will focus on securing capacity, improving performance, and driving efficient, safe, and cost-effective transport. You'll collaborate with partners to translate plans into reliable execution and support continuous improvement across service providers. This is an action-oriented role that links operational practice with strategic development within IKEA's transport landscape.
Responsabilità
- Secure and continuously improve SP performance across capacity, quality, safety, precision and cost
- Ensure the right capacity through forecasting, planning and close partner collaboration
- Drive operational development via SP development plans, business reviews and new set-ups
- Manage deviations and unforeseen situations to protect stable operations at the lowest total cost
- Safeguard compliance and long-term efficiency by following up contracts, standards and improvement opportunities
Requisiti fondamentali
- Has experience from logistics operations, transport, land service provider management in complex environments
- Understands how capacity, quality, safety, precision and cost come together in day-to-day land logistics execution
- Is comfortable working close to operations, analyzing deviations and driving corrective actions with service providers
- Balances partnership and performance, holding others accountable while developing them over time
