# People Operations Team Lead Milan HQ · Tempo pieno · Hybrid (3 days/week in office) ## About Lexroom **Lexroom** is building the AI platform where legal work gets done. In just over two years, we've grown from zero to €25M ARR, and today **more than 20,000 legal professionals** across **Italy, Spain, Germany, France, and Bulgaria** rely on **Lexroom**. **We're backed by $73M** from Left Lane Capital, Base10 Partners, and Eurazeo, and **we're a team of around 300 builders** who move fast, say things straight, and own each outcome. **Our next goal? Become Europe's most-used legal product.** ## The role You’ll own how People Operations runs in every country we operate in, today and as we expand. That means payroll closes under control, data we can trust, and processes nobody has to chase. You’ll report to our Head of People and lead a team of People Ops Specialists, with an Ops Specialist supporting you on the technical side of our tools. ## What you’ll do * Make **payroll accurate and reliable** in every country: choose, manage and, when needed, replace our local providers, and own the monthly close (calendar, cut-offs, pre- and post-run checks, reconciliation with Finance) * Own **our HRIS (HiBob)** as our single source of truth, and its connection to payroll in every country * Run the **employee lifecycle, benefits and ESOP administration** across Italy, Spain, France, Germany,
Bulgaria and every new market we open * Keep each country **compliant**: map the risks, decide what to fix first and track it to closure * Design processes and data with **measurement** in mind, and use **AI to remove manual work** * **Lead and grow the team** ## What you bring * Solid experience in HR or People Operations, **owning processes end to end**, including the Italian employment framework * Hands-on experience **running payroll through external providers**: month-end close, controls, reconciliations and provider management * Experience **owning an HRIS and connecting it to payroll** (e.g. HiBob with JetHR, PayFit, Deel) * A track record of **automating HR processes**, with concrete AI use cases you can walk us through * Fluent Italian and English ## Nice to have * HR operations experience outside Italy * Hands-on experience with HiBob * HR analytics ## What we offer * **Salary:** €55,000–65,000 gross per year * **Hybrid work:** at least three days a week in our Milan HQ, with flexibility * **Meal vouchers:** €7 per working day * **Welfare budget:** €600 per year, via Satispay * **Team retreats and off-sites:** time to connect and work together ## Our process 1.
